James has spoken at a number of events on subjects connected to ICT delivery in schools, and as a Microsoft Certified Trainer has provided training on a number of subjects, both connected to Microsoft and also wider issues in ICT.

Open Source Schools

James delivered a presentation on Enhancing Open Source Use at the Open Source Schools Unconference in July 2009.

In January 2010 he reprised the presentation for a session at the BETT Show.

Capita

At BETT in 2009, James presented on behalf of Capita detailing how a successful implementation of their SIMS .Net product had helped bring attendance under control.

Fronter

As part of the introduction of Fronter in Norfolk schools, James delivered this presentation and accompanying training session to just under 200 members of staff at Sprowston Community High School.
